As Ada waved goodbye to both Ryo and Clarisse, she turned once more to search for the tiny figure she had seen in the streets.
The rain was beginning to quicken its pace, the drops were soaking into her shoulders and hair. Ada could not repress the shiver that pushed itself across her spine, but the thought of a tiny child suffering from the coldness alone pushed her on.
I hope that the child isn't lost...
Walking briskly, Ada stopped in front of the alleyway and cautiously made her way in. She had never been in one of these cramped rows before, Kate had always instructed her to stick to the main path in the town.
"It isn't right for a noblewoman such as yourself to tramp around."
I'm not tramping around though. I mean, I'm worried...
The tiny shape that Ada had seen before sharpened considerably until Ada was standing right in front of the child.
She couldn't see his/her features on account of the shawl that was wrapped around his/her tiny frame.
"Hey there." Ada murmured gently, putting out one hand invitingly towards the child. "Are you lost?"

Kiketo shivered, freezing with only a dirty dress on and a shawl wrapped snugly around her shoulders and head in attempt to keep warm. Flip flops didn't help either. The whether was once again beginning to get colder and colder as the season progressed, and Kiketo had barely survived it last year. Then a large drop of water splashed onto her knee which was propping her up against a brick wall in the alley-way. Another shiver ran through the young girl's tiny frame.
And, suddenly, a girl was infront of her offering her hand. Who .. thought Kiketo, staring at the woman. She had raised her head quickly, and now the shawl was slowly sliding off her head and shoulders, revieling her long dirty-blonde hair and golden eyes. As she stared at the woman, Kiketo noticed she shared many features with her.
"Umm. Hi," said Kiketo's extremely high pitched, young girl voice, shaking with cold and shyness. "No. I'm not lost."
[/color] And this was the truth. Kiketo had lived on the streets for a year now, ever since she had been forgotten and her family had died. But, instead of saying these things, the girl held out her hand to grab the woman's, and got up. Bowing, she said, "I'm sorry, but why are you here? You are much too pretty to be a regular citizen, and even more roaming these dangerous alleys."[/color] The girl spoke softly and childishly. [/size][/blockquote][/color] |

She had a soft, lovely voice. Her long dirty-blonde hair spilled out from under her shawl leaving Ada with the strong similarity between this girl's features and her own.
"Here?" Ada asked, caught off-guard by the young girl's question. She wasn't at all what Ada expected. The girl looked incredibly just like her complete with petite frame and soft voice. The only visible difference were her eyes, large and golden while Ada's was akin to her brother's own green eyes. The girl while speaking childishly spoke authoritatively almost, as if her mental age was far beyond her physical.
"I was in town with a few friends," Ada explained, crouching down so that she was level with the little girl. "When I saw you in the alleyway. If it's dangerous for me to be around here then it's even more dangerous for you to be alone. Where's your mother? Are you waiting for her? How about your father?"
The questions went on and on, fueled by Ada's curiosity and concern.
I'm so sorry for not replying sooner! I've been so busy. ;_;
MODIFY: I'm going to leave this rp thread for now, since I'm sure that you're busy right now. Once again, I'm sorry that I didn't reply sooner.

Blushing wildly, Kiketo's large golden eyes flew to the ground. "No. My parents died," she said quietly, shyly. Slowly, Kiketo smiled and looked back up at the woman. "You can't tell, but I was part of a rich f-family."

Naw it's okay!  After this post I won't be able to reply,  since I'm involved in another RP. ;_; But, once that's over I'll come back! Or maybe we can move to the Bezarius Mansion board after? Ada's eyes couldn't help but fill with tears. How could someone so young like this girl already have gone through such a tragic life?
Her musings were interrupted as the girl began to shiver.
"Where are your friends, miss?" The girl asked, clutching at her arms in an attempt to stay warm.
Ada shook her head. "They're nearby...but other than them, look at you! You're freezing to the bone. If you don't have anywhere else to be why don't you come home with me? You're obviously tired and hungry...I'll take care of you." |
