Gilbert Nightray
(In Character Portion)
Height;; 182cm
Age;; 24
Standings;; Devoted to Oz Bezarius.
Any dislikes?
Yes, in fact, there's many things I dislike... Oz's father being one of them, for the cruel and twisted man is what sent Oz into the Abyss. I shall never forgive him for this deed... Never, and I strive not to kill him, for I know Oz would get hurt in the meanwhile... If he were to die.
While I hold a strong dislike for cats, as well... The things are evil, with their claws, and those slanted eyes... I mean, look at them! They sit there, prowl, and stalk you... that's not normal! Plus, they won't hesitate to attack people, take me per example.
Those who harm my master, hold a strong hatred from me. For, whomever harms Oz, don't deserve to live. My love, and my devotion, isn't to be tainted by their hands...
As for other dislikes... Duke Nightray is on the list... as well as bell peppers... both are distasteful, ugly, even.
What do I like, then?
Black coffee, it's something that I like... For, it has no sugar. In fact, I've learned to dislike such a thing over the years. Perhaps Break ruined it for me. With this, I have an interest in sale, as well as fresh ingredients... For you can't cook without them, plus, you can make money for selling such things. If you play your cards right, that is.
Is there anyone I love?
Ehm... Yes, although... It's probably not something I should announce to everyone in the world... The one I love, that has all my loyalty and devotion, is Oz Bezarius. Ever since I was younger, I had an infatuation with him... He taught me what love was, and that he cared for me... No one else showed that. Ever. He's like a god, in my eyes... I'm lucky to even have him... To him, I'm ever faithful, and I shall always love him... I won't let him be dragged back into the Abyss. If that time comes, to the point where he is... I shall follow my beloved into the depths of the hell itself. For I'd rather spend eternity with him there, then in this world alone.
Whether or not these emotions go noticed with him, or no. For just having him in this world is enough - it's all I can ask for; is that he's safe.
Otherwise, what am I good at?
Plenty of things... Despite me being useless... I'm well aware of how to cook, especially when it comes to sweets... For all the times Break has broken into my house, it helps to keep him occupied. Really, surprisingly, it works. Momentarily, at least. With this, housework is obviously something I'm good at... I do, after all, own a house.
Math, and general calculus tends to be a strong point... As well as using a gun. For I trained hard over the years to use such a thing...
I'm not to good with...
People in general, including Break, and Sharon. Including that cat... Cheshire...

Gilbert's personality varied throughout his life, and has been protective most of it. As a child, his obsessions were focused on protecting his younger brother Vincent, whom he often thought about leaving. Despite such thoughts, he stayed with the boy, before being adopted into a family by Jack Bezarius, his influence changed. Not only did he want to protect Vincent, he wanted to do so for Jack, as well. With the hatred throughout his past, he also learned to hate a certain person, Alice. She had insulted, perhaps even hurt his brother, as to a point where he began to abuse the girl. Due to her, he grew into an angrier lifestyle of things, unwilling to adapt to anything new.
While some of this personality remains, some was wiped. No longer does Gilbert care so much about his brother, but the trust and loyalty was put into his master; Oz Bezarius. He adores the boy, and is practically obsessed with him. Some of this may be due to the similarities between Oz and Jack. With Oz, he had become welcome, and comfortable. Finding it hard to place trust in anyone else. He's afraid of being abandoned by him, in fear of being alone, lost. Such fears relating to his childhood, which was far from pleasant.
That aside, he's lonely, and fears the future. Despite the lack of trust, it could easily be gained. He is, after all, human. Humans strive on company, companionship, and who is he to pass that up? Even if his attitude fluctuated throughout his past, and he does have his moods, he could be considered sensitive. He does have honor. As well as old traits from being a servant well - most of his life.
Despite this, he's often energetic and optimistic, also having a keen talent for 'manipulating' others. While he does this, he also makes promises, and is determined to protect those important to him. Even if it means doubting all he believes in the process. He's also quick to form emotional bonds with someone, whether or not they feel the same way.

The man's past is, truly, far from normal. As children, he and his brother were rejected for Vincent's red eye, and it being a cursed thing. Gilbert strove to protect, and remain loyal to his younger brother. Yet, he doubted staying with his brother, and many times sought to reject him. For the mere thought, if Vincent wasn't here, I'd be free. No matter how many times he tried to accomplish this, he always went back to his clinging - helpless, brother's aide. They lived on the streets, hurting others by thievery for their own survival. That was, until Jack Bezarius stepped into his life. The man took them into his own household, and allowed them to live somewhat normal lives. Gilbert was his servant, and Jack became a role model to the boy. He looked up to him, and his obsessions expanded from his brother, to Jack. He wanted to protect him, he'd do anything for him.
There was a competitive atmosphere between the children, not with Gilbert and Vincent, but Alice. Due to the constant mocking, or bashing, she would do to his brother. Instead of letting Vincent sit there and take the blows, he would intervene. He did. He abused the girl, starting with ripping her hair out. His anger was invoked, and none other but Jack Bezarius had to intervene. What pissed him off further, the girl acted like she was the victim, when she was clearly at fault. His lifestyle turned more blunt, and shunned mostly everything out. All because of Alice, he hated her, with a passion. This carried on, until the night when he was stolen to be possessed by Glen. Jack had saved him that night, and protected him, murdering his best friend in the process. Gilbert felt guilt, for not being able to protect his master. That guilt was brought with him into the Abyss, knocked out, battered, and bruised.
When the time in the Abyss was finished, the boy ended up at the Bezarius household, and adopted into the family. One-hundred years after his current time, and his memory was wiped, he met Oz Bezarius. He opened up to the boy, and the boy offered him the feeling of belonging, adoration, even love. Oz was his new obsession, obsessions had seemed to come and go throughout his life, but he wasn't one to remember it all. He served Oz for five years, before the boy himself was dragged into the Abyss. With an acclaimed sin. The person whom banished him was Oz's father, despite any hurt the man caused to his son, Gilbert protected him, in fear what Oz would do afterward. If he had figure out he had slain his father then - the blade struck him, instead of the Bezarius Duke. He felt betrayed, agonized, and would be near death before the night was over.
Ten years afterward, after working for a family of whom he feared, and a man of which he hated, Oz Bezarius came back from the Abyss. The tears shed for the boy, the bloody spilt for him, wasn't a wasted effort. He was back, that was all that mattered. His loyalties, or obsessions, never tore from the boy. In fact, it remained, now more then ever. He hid his identity for a short lived time, only to face the boy as his identity had been given off in an in a run-in at the old mansion of which Oz had his coming of age ceremony. Now, with his identity discovered, he serves Oz the best he can in his condition. Perhaps slowly being pushed away from his loyalty, and abandoned, yet again in his cold dreary life.

R P S a m p l e;;
(Taken from the old site, perhaps I will rewrite it, as well as the profile, who knows?)
Gil was rather taken aback by that comment, he didn't answer his question, and only stated that he'd help Alice find what she was looking for in a grim tone. He frowned, not knowing how to respond. He couldn't possibly pick a fight with Oz, he never really could. Thus, he left it alone. Then Oz asked a question that was entirely avoiding him, and directed toward Alice. He didn't know how to take this, either. The boy's independence didn't surprise him in the least bit, but it was bothersome. For what was Gil if he wasn't needed? He had practically lived for his precious master, and he'd really be nothing if he could no longer serve; nor protect the boy. This is why he was afraid of the behavior, getting left behind, and alone. As he was ten years back. He didn't want a repeat, although it was bound to happen. If Oz's seal reached the last hand, he'd be dragged down into the Abyss. Irretrievable, and stuck with that stupid rabbit.
His eyes narrowed further at this, to the point he was looking at nothing. He couldn't have a repeat of those ten years, not at all. It'd crush him, in more ways then one. In fact, he was probably being abandoned for Alice. It was, in all chances, possible. He watched as Oz and Alice conversed. The room where she had first met Oz? That brought him back, before Oz was sucked into the Abyss and... He shivered, the memories were to much. He still carried a scar from that very night. He was sure Oz did too, for he stabbed him in the chest with that blade. Against his will. He was mind controlled, and he was still sorry for that. With his entire being, he'd apologize for giving Oz that wound. He didn't care about his wound, he wouldn't have to think twice before forgiving Oz for it. He didn't matter, Oz did. It was one of the only coherent thoughts he had at the moment.
He was silent. Was obviously being ignored anyways, so he kept to his dreadful thoughts.
